I have been waiting patiently as my tank matures again. Corals are growing well again. Haven't added anything new in a long time. May get out and see if I can find a nice new acro or lps. The pajamas are mouth brooding again...lol...more free fish and coral treats.

Lowered my Orpheks another inch tonight. I have been lowering an inch every month. Want to get to about 35" off the sand bed. At 40" now. Corals are getting used to the higher par and they are really starting to color up and grow nicely.

I cut my rose nebula zoas tonight......  I've been fearing that one for a while now.   Now if only my Darth Mauls would cooperate......I might attempt them too.

Now that my tank is whole again, I decided to add a few new corals. Picked up some great frags from Lazy today. Almost done with the acclimation. Pics later.

Ignoring it and what do you know my corals look better than they have in a while. Added a RBTA and some clowns. Wanting to add some new stuff, but need to get rid of some old stuff.

Having trouble posting pics on this post only, strange.

Well.....I got lucky and stumbled across a trio of 24" x 24" x 12" cubes.  Daddy's little helper assisted in the installation and before I knew it I had a sand castle in the tank.......lol.    Anyways, the 40 breeder behind will be replaced by a second cube, and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the third yet.....but I'll find a home for it.   :-)

In the process of trying to catch that crab, which has been unsuccessful at this point, I rearranged some things and took some stuff out. Its not much different from before.

It was tentatively identified as a gorilla crab. I'm pretty sure that its killed several of my snails and possibly 4 fish, my mandarin included.
Its approximately 1½" across and, so far, smarter than me, lol.

Yeah, you will do well to get that crab out of your tank. It's gonna lay waste to life in that tank.

They'll eat your fish and some corals. I'm not having very good luck catching him, to say the least, lol.

Did you get a positive ID on this crab? Long pointed black claws?

Not a positive ID. I'll try to get another picture but that may take awhile. It kinda looks like a fiddler crab but the one claw isn't as long.
This is the last pic I got of it.

Not liking the look of those claws. I would banish it to the sump if you can catch him.

Tonight, I am finally placing my corals. Took some time to let them get happy where they are sitting. Picked up some nice frags from Lazy the other day also. I think they all will do well in my tank. I will post up some pics when done. I have a crappy point and shoot so, probably wont be the best pics.

I'm picking up some water jugs in the morning so I can get some RO water to do a water change. Luckily I have a couple totes I can mix it in. Hopefully, this will start to bring some things under control.
