Nano cube light issue

I have a 12 gallon nano cube dx tank. The lights come on but only stay on for about 45 minutes then they turn off.  The fans are still running.  If I turn the ballast off for about 1 minute and then back on, the lights work again.

Any thought on what might be going on?

Sounds like ballast is going out. I have had that issue with MH ballasts in the past.
