ATO Reservoir?
« on: April 10, 2015, 15:18:23 »
So, I finally bought an ATO DIY kit along with an Aqualifter pump.  What does everyone use for their RO/DI Reservoir?  I was hoping to use something that is quite large so I dont have to worry about it emptying every week.

I made my own out of acrylic it holds about 8 gallons. I had a very limited amount of space to work with and had a hard time finding what I wanted.

Great ideas everyone!  Sounds like people use anything that holds water.  I found some heavy duty plastic tubs at home depot that are 27 gallon and only $10.  I may use one of those.

my big thing when choosing my storage barrels was making sure it was food grade.  IMO as long as it is you can use pretty much anything that will meet your space constraints

Be careful on what container you use if you plan on putting kalk in your ATO. I found out the hard way kalk weakens plastic. You need to make sure it is HDPE plastic.
