Change your filters!
« on: August 20, 2006, 14:57:49 »
First sediment/carbon block filter change for me.  Had the RO/DI system for 1 year and this is what the filters look like on city water.

Sediment filter with new one on top for comparison:

All three with flow from right to left - last one looks reasonably clean before going through the RO.  New carbon filter on top:

I got the same one Micki has.  Didn't know her at the time so I didn't copy from her  ;D   Although I have copied a few things Randy and her have done with their system.  ;)

i have a knent maxima ro/di. I change the sed, and carbon filter about every 6-8 months. The ones that lowes sells fits great. I got a replacment 75g per day membrain off ebay from H20 splash. I havent changed my di yet because my tds meter still reads 0-2 all the time.
