Is that some sort of Hitchhiker??

I picked up this Trachyphyllia from CORA swap yesterday and noticed when I got home this odd hole on it's underside. It looks like something is in there. When I dipped it yesterday it seemed to contact into the hole. Should I try removing it?

Definitely looks like something bored in there, hard to tell what it is. So much stuff in the oceans.
