my tank is 3 months old and i have noticed a few tiny light green strings coming from LR and the sand is this string algae if so what do i do about? i just changed my lighting to 4 T 5s thats when i noticed these things

What is little goody's Dave

Sounds like hair algae and is not uncommon to get as the tank mature's. Typically starts at about 1 to 3 months and with good husbandry can still last a while. Bi-weekly water changes, running phospate reducer or macro algae in the sump can help considerably if you are not already doing these things.
