Skittle acan

So picked up skittle acan at the swap last week. When  I came home last night  it had died what happened checked all level everything is normal  everything else in tank looks great but scared to go home tonight any ideas I did dip the coral when came home but was opened up looking great since last Sunday I'm starting to think I just have  bad luck this month
