What do you mean by corallite? Each individual mouth/polyp, that has a skeleton underneath is a corallite. You can't seem them because it has swollen up.

It looks like my War Coral in the frag tank, but a different color. How big is each polyp? Roughly 1/4" or a tad bigger? Thats war coral, 1/2" larger would be Favia.

I said Favia because of the color, most war corals I have seen are a single color on the mouth, and outside. Where as Favia's sometimes have the stripes and mixed colors.

the polyps range between 1/4", up to 3/8". Im no expert in coral anatomy, so bear with me on my terms. The "center" part of each polyp is not set in like any favia, or any war coral (that I have seen a pic of on google). The center part and outer ring are flat with each other.

Thats the problem with ID'ing coral lol. You don't see pics of happy, healthy fungia online either. But when they are they are 3" thick. So who knows :D Some LPS are just hard to ID.
