5 Canister RO/DI unit project
« on: May 19, 2010, 22:05:06 »
Due to the water problems that West Carrollton seems to be having, be it pipe line breaks or hydrant flushing, i have decided to put togather a 75 GPD 5 cansiter RO/DI unit, all was bought tonight and planning on starting it tomorow, ill try to take a few pics as i go.... ;D

Here is my Franken RO unit. I have two dual inline meters. One from the source, one out of the pre filters, one out of the membrane, and one after the DI. So I know whats going on at all times.

Oh yeah, both types of carbon pre filters. Considering just running DI as I have three more canisters laying around. Not sure if its worth it to recharge the stuff all the time. Makes about 100GPH with just the DI though. Eats it up FAST with a 200-300 TDS coming in.

Having tasted West Carrollton water myself I think you should do that just to make it drinkable

Looks great ... We have a little 12 gallon a day unit  :'(
