Title: Green hair algae
Post by: Mark Hendricks on September 21, 2018, 11:06:25
Hello all,
I have a evo 13.5 setup with 2 clownfish in it. One large 13lb rock. It is now half covered in hair algae what is best and easiest way to get rid of it. I don’t really want to toss the rock. Thx guys

Mark,
I have had good luck with Fluconazole for my hair algae problems in the past.  Lazy's Coral House carries it or you can order it online here:

Hope this helps.

You need to test your nitrate and phosphates.  More then likely one or both are high causing the issue.  Along with what Kelly mentioned you will need to get those lowered and under control.

Also, what kind of clean up crew do you have?
