small starfish on glass

ive been seeing small starfish in my new tank and wanted to know if these star could do any damage to corals or if they jut helped clean up my tank
90 gallon shallow

They are no problem.  I have quite a few of them and they dont harm any of my corals.  Dont worry be happy.

Get them out.  They will start to eat your coral.  I lost a few colonies because of them.
Firefighting:  How hard can it be?  You just put the wet stuff on the red stuff right?

As you can see from the above posts ... there is a difference of an opinion on them  :laugh:  I myself am on the fence whether they are good or bad.

I have watched them munch on corals, there are alot of different types, the ones I had had a taste for Zoas, Watch Out Kenn!

Oh I have been keeping an eye on them, when I heard they could be Zoa munchers. I have started taking them from the tank when I get an opportunity to snatch a few

yes I myself have some of those in my tank. I havent seen them on my frags yet. but would like to know if they are good or bad.  or should they be banished to the sump?

I can only speak for myself but I have quite a few of them in my tank.  I have mostly sps, but I have several pieces of torch coral and one acan and 2 pieces of zoos and havent experienced any issues at all.  Go figure.

i yank them out every time i see them they mite not do any harm but they do breed like crazy
