HELP: Identification please

Could ANYONE identify this creature. It is on a small piece of rubble in my refugium.

Just need to know if I should panic :)

That is a chiton. It should be reef safe. Definitely fine for your refugium.

I'm jealous.  It's a chiton.  Totally reef safe...awesome guys.  They'll clean your rocks down to bare rock (and you'll see their paths.)  They'll usually stay on one rock...rarely venturing far from home.

Found this "White Sponge Thing"? while moving my blue sponge around.

Cool little thing. Thanks Joel  :laugh: I'm pretty sure it hitch hiked on the back of the Blue Sponge frag rock I pick up from you.

I've read a little about it but info still unclear. Is this cute little thing (bigger than a fresh pea) going to turn into Pineapple Sponge Bomb (I'm sure there is a pun in this sentence somewhere  :) ) and nuke my tank?
