Worms
« on: November 21, 2009, 23:23:05 »
I think they're worms.
Sorry no pictures.

They build tubes in the sand and have a single long tentacle that comes out and waves around.
They are about a couple of mm in width and maybe a cm in length.
Should I worry?
Thanks and God Bless,
John

no sounds like feather dusters.  Also called tube worms.  Good things

Their tubes are similar size to the tube worms.  But do they start off with just a single "tentacle?"
Thanks and God Bless,

No, if they just have a single tentacle they're a different type of worm but still nothing to worry about.

I'm pretty sure they are not vermetid.  I've had those and I don't recall a tentacle with them.  They gave out more of a webbing.  These definitely have a long white arm
Thanks and God Bless,
John
