Cute little guy. Funny watching him dangle off the bucket to get away from my net.

He is doing fine, is his species only tank with a few snails, crabs, and mollys. I got him from a fellow reef keeper who purchased him not knowing he would eat his clown fish lol.

I just viewed the tank, and he is VERY active at night. Cool little guy. Its neat how he sits on the glass, and his colors "pulse".

Awesome.... just curious at what you will feed him/her... I "assume" that one would attack hermits/shrimp if you housed them in the same tank?

Yeah he is all by himself with his food :) Some hermits, snails, and a few mollys. Ate one of the mollys last night.

How big is that dude gonna get?  That is sweet!

I always have wanted to build a tank that closely resembles the gas station windows in the bad part of town so that the only access to the tank is a small door I could throw food into.  Then add some sand, rocks, closed loop filtration, and finally octopus!

So I am LAZY! I drilled and plumbed this tank into the main system. I figure I spend the extra time and effort now, and skip water changes on a single tank later :)

So SHE (yes, its a her), is plumbed into the stable, clean, nitrate free main system now. She can create all the waste she wants now hehe.

She should, she is on one of your shops "lists" :D. She is sold as a "Pacific Brown Octopus". But like most octos, she is mislabeled, and unknown. Most Pacific Octos are cold, some are warm. She seems to be doing fine @ 78-81 so far.

To be honest I have no idea what she is. If you have a tip, or any ideas on care. Please let me know man. It was a rescue. Me doing my best, is better than another reef keeper flushing her because she ate fish (duh!).
