I am wanting to paint my apartment and was curious if anyone has experience with painting around reef tanks? Any vapor issues from the paint and stuff like that. Any help would be appreciated.

I used a low VOC paint when I painted my living room and had no problems afterward.

Paint isn't what it use to be...... so I would say just throw some extra carbon in there & you will be fine
The old paint sure stunk, especially pool paint. I remember in the 80's the smell just about knocked me out.... last summer we painted the pool & there was almost no odor.....

I would turn off your skimmer and air pump if you have them unless it is getting an outside air source.

make sure you have good air flow through your room, like a window fan or something, thats what you should do when painting in a room anyways. Like Coral Ranch said, external air source.
