well they both read that high at first, and i have had them that high before years ago when i had killed off a bunch of hair algae and nothing died but, if someone has a pin point nitrate that i can use for a second would be great, i'm in beavercreek

I would think if your nitrates were that high you'd see some nitrite and ammonia reading high.  I don't think a tank could process ammonia and nitrite fast enough so you'd get a back-log of it as well as nitrate.  Just a thought.

So a test that was reading near 200, now reads zero.

Either you were doing something wrong, or possibly contaminated your vials.

Based on the appearance of your tank, I would trust the zero, or near zero.   But I would try to figure out what was causing your funny readings.

Something is wrong with your testing. My nitrite test only goes to 5ppm

Yea I think you'd have floating fish if they were 200
75G Mixed Reef w/ 30G sump/refuge

Electrical Engineers do it on impulse, with faster rise times, with more power, and less resistance at higher frequencies, without shorts, until it Hertz
