has anyone ever built a diy filter sock holder, and is it worth it or should i just get one from joel, which is the direction i'm leaning

How much are they at Joels?  Can't see where it would be to hard to make.

 I made a dual 4" sock holder for my sump. 1 piece of plexiglass 18x24, 2 1" tee's, 2 1" 90's, 2 1" hose barb fittings, glue and several hours of my time. If you are interested send me a pm and I can send you a pick.
