...DIY swabbie?
« on: August 25, 2010, 19:52:09 »
Does anyone have an opinion on these things?  They look cool, but do they actually get more out of the skimmer by being clean than they mess up the bubble column?

Low RPM motor in red, Gears in green and Nylon rod in blue,  A simple acrylic bracket to keep it all aligned.... how can they charge >$300 for this?

Is it worth it and what would we use for the wiper?

Electrical Engineers do it on impulse, with faster rise times, with more power, and less resistance at higher frequencies, without shorts, until it Hertz

$20 total  ;D 5v DC low RPM motor and gears to match.  Just need some 5mm Nylon rod, or way to trim rod to 5mm.....  Too many projects, too little time lol

You should use the wiperblades for luxury car's headlights. I'm sure they make a unibody one without the metal.

I think it would screw with me bubbles! Build me something that will lift the lid, wipe the cup, and close the lid and we will talk :)
