Title: Pink algae?

I'm still new at this hobby and have been dosing my hospital tank with searchem stability for a few days now, almost a week while I run cupramine treatment. I've noticed I have pink algae growing on my heater and the ammoni alert badge. It's this coraline or something else? The tank is a brand new 20 gallon with a corner filter from petsmart.

not coraline  probably something from the treatment
 just wipe it off

Thanks! I wasn't sure if it was beneficial or not. I'll just wipe it off.
