Title: FINALLY
Post by: micki on June 12, 2007, 19:18:18
I finally got 2 peppermints that eat aptasia!!!  ;D  I got them from Joel several months ago.  I kept them in the 40 gallon and didn't feed that tank much.  There was some aptasia in there and I'm guessing that's what they had to live on. I moved them up to the reef and one side of the tank is almost aptasia FREE!!!  Now if they would just travel to the other side...  ::)

Peppermints are great aptasia defence when you do get a pair that actually eat aptasia. I think I have had one pair of really good aptasia hunters out of the 4 pair that I have had.

I've had several peppermints and this is the first time I've had any that ate the aptasia.
