Tomini Tang
« on: June 01, 2011, 22:16:27 »
I am willing to trade my Tomini tang for equal value fish or will just let go for $$ make an offer I don't know a good price... He is perfectly healthy, eats flake and seaweed with red algae just fine.  He just consistently picks at my goby from day one, and he is throwing a big ol temper tantrum over the Klein's

The sooner the better....lol

Yes I know my glass/tank is filthy, I have been working so much on getting the 90 ready... I haven't had time for this one.

I don't know if he would do well with another of his type... as it is he hates fish in general to be honest with you... he's like that old man that everyone has in their neighborhood that hates when people are on his yard, and is always gripping about how the neighborhood looks vs the old days.

lol no go on the peppermint shrimp... as much as my Sixline is drooling at the thought the last 3 ended horribly.... If you want em, come get em... we can always work out something later... I just honestly don't know how well he would get along with another Tomini....

It would have to be shortly after the 24pk... otherwise that tank would be all over the floor.... I could see myself loosing interest around beer#26 and start chucking the rocks out onto the floor.

If Darrin doesnt get him let me know, i may come up and get him, How big is he right now? I only have a 54g corner right now but within the next month or so, I am setting up a bigger tank, probably a 90+. I think my daughter would kill me if I gave up my cleaner shrimp, but i have a coral banded shrimp if you are interested. O just so you know my 54g is packed with good LR, and the only other bigger fish I have is about a 3'' long yellow tang, so hopefully he would get along. :)

He is doing well, its just my tank is freaking out, and the klein sees to do better than my other fish as he isn't putting up with my tangs attitude and stands his ground, but the tang is still twice his size so he does get shoved around a little... I'm gonna split them up when I get home. I'm gonna put all my fish in holding tanks, and begin dismantling the 55. I have my lights out and my tank blacked, it seemed to be working last night and this morning as the tang runs and hides in the dar. We will see... I think if I. Set up the 90 and save the tang for last when I put my stock back in he will do ok as he won't have "territory" established... if not he goes to darin, if darin doesn't want em then he's discus'

no not as of yet... I meant to set up the tank Friday night but I got slammed more than I wanted to lol... and then I couldn't find the right sand yesterday, But I have everything now, and in the process of setting up the 90(hopefully will be complete by tomorrow night). The tang is doing alot better now, but my lights have been off since Friday due to me turning them off to calm him down and then them smoking out yesterday... so I don't know how he is gonna act with em on...

I tried feeding them all today but it's pretty hard to get them all to eat with the lights off... sigh rofl... they haven't really ate since thurs.

I think Darin wants em if it doesn't work out but if not he is yours sir.

yeah no problem man, if she and you decide later that you've had enough of that tang, i have some damsels that will put it inline. lol. I completely understand, cant get between your wife and that fish. My wife loves the Tomini tang that we do have and she would chop me up if i tried to give it away lol. I need to get her a new mandarin also, so tahts why i need to go to Gerbers soon and see what they have, though i could just call and ask, its nice to stroll through there while i'm in town.

This guy is back up for grabs, I thought I could make it work, but he isn't jiving with my current tank set up. I will let him go for a fish(es) of equal value, or for $$. Make an offer, He is a decent sized Tomini, and is in good health and eats plenty.

Let me know, looking to get em out sooner than not, Those who expressed interest in him before have first dibs, but I will let go for the right price and how quickly I can get him moved.
