My new Achilles tang
« on: November 29, 2013, 13:22:45 »
I went to ideal aquatics today cause they have that Black Friday deal and saw a powder blue and Achilles and chose the Achilles I was really worried that my 6in sailfin would beat him up but no aggression so far thank god. He acclimated great and was swimming all around right after he was put into the tank. Sorry for bad pics but he moves fast.

Hey 513tangs the achillies looks awesome, I'm glad he is getting along with your sail fin tang,I know you were worried about that this morning at ideal.I was wondering if you were on any of the forums, and if I'd get to hear how he turned out.I'm the guy that told you if you didn't buy it that it would be gone soon, that fish looks great.

It can take some time for new fish to eat. May take it a day or two.

Exactly they are hard to get to eat... just like powder blues are ick magnets! :-[

Try some spirulina enriched brine,,, and some algae on a clip in the tank at times..... feed small multiple times daily.... it will be your best bet.
