Fish in a 220g
« on: April 23, 2010, 12:08:55 »
Ok quick summary:
I am moving (sometime) and will be tearing down my tank (8' x 2' x 2').
I presently have a reef tank (and want to keep it).

The fish I presently have in it and that I want to keep:
2 perculas
1 cleaner wrasse

Fish getting rid of:
coral beauty

Fish not sure of what to do:
vlamingi
sailfin
powder blue
5 blue reef chromis

I would like to set up a nice peacful tank with COLOR

I need some suggestions (of course pics always help)
Thanks  :)
Thanks and God Bless,
John

I would keep all of the fish except the coral beauty. The rest will do great in a reef tank.

the coral beauty would be the only one I'd take out for sure.you could add some fairy wrasse for a splash of color, some are spectacular in color. And you know by my race way I really like anthias.Small groups add color and movement.

Ok heres some questions then:
Could I replace the 3 large tangs with 3 yellow tangs?

how would they be with an angel (like a swallowtail or Lamark's)?

Could I put a flasher wrasse or fairy with the cleaner wrasse?

Last question could I do the 3 tangs, 2 percs, 5 chromis, and several anthias, oh and at least the cleaner wrasse?
Thanks and God Bless,
John

If you go with the yellow tangs do make sure you add them at the same time.
you should be fine adding an angel and fairy wrasse or flasher

Sailfin length is 6" maybe a little bigger
the powder blue is 4.5" to 5"
If still interested let me know I have no idea on what price I'd ask for.
Thanks and God Bless,
John
