Hello
I have a 75 gallon tank with about a 30 gallon sump . To be honest it has been nothing but frustration for a year and a half . But the latest problem is the sump water level. It has been fine for the last year and a half now the return pump basically sucks it dry , then it fills back up when you turn it off , then you turn it on and it sucks it dry . The pump it's self is about 6 months old and it worked fine until about 3 weeks ago . Nothing else had changed ,any ideals on why this is happening and how to fix it ?
Thanks
Mike

A little confused from your description but sounds as if your drain isnt working properly or your pump is pumping water faster then what the drain/overflow can do. If thats the case you either need to increase the overflow amount or slow down the pump output.

I agree with jeff. It sounds like something is clogging your overflow line from the tank to the sump. Do you have a ball valve on the over line?
