What are heat sealers used for? As far as aquariums are concerned? Or is it for shipping? I'm a newb...sorry. I actually only signed up to this forum to learn about equipment. I'm a freshwater guy and Reefers seem to be a lot more advanced in the tech they use :)

LOL scratch that... Good old Google and Duh :)

In all the reading I've done for freshwater, I haven't seen anyone seal their stuff with heat sealers. None of my fish shipments have come that way either... Not sure why, I've been thinking it would be a good idea.

LOL....those heat sealers are in my basement. One still works. If I recall, Scott moved to Charlotte, North Carolina over the summer.
