Title: June-July Meeting
Post by: verper on July 12, 2007, 17:30:23: Since we didn't have a June meeting this will be a combination June and July meeting

Date: Saturday, July 28th

Time: 4:00pm

Location: Rick Main's (slicktrax) pool in Tipp City. PM Rick for directions, # of people attending, and what you are bringing.

Families/kids welcome. Don't forget your swim suit. Rick will grill. Bring a food or beverage item.

Member's only raffle to be held at the meeting. $100 in gift certificates to our local sponsors Aquariums Etc and JustCoral. The club also has a new Catfish 48" 260w PC light from Fins Depot to raffle http://www.catfishlighting.com/body_pclights.htm. Sample packs of Hikari food will also be available to members. Only $10 to become a member and join in the raffle!

Post by: Slicktrax on July 23, 2007, 10:21:37: if i haven't answered anyones pm or questions, i apologize, just send or ask again. my home computer now runs, but the network card is fried too. so far i have about 20 people showing up saturday. this is whats been volunteered so far: pop, paper plates etc., something from the grill. i would recommend finger type foods if you are undecided on what to bring. i dont mind if you bring beer to drink.

lighting strike awhile back. by the way, i bought a dell back in january. they cover anything under the warranty period. i originally took the computer to best buy (i didnt know any better) only to be told they couldnt do anything about it. i called dell expecting to hear "we dont cover lightning strikes", but instead was told that they would send a new motherboard and a technician to install it for the sum of zero dollars. the customer service rep told me they will cover just about anything you can imagine, unless it is intentional.

Golfing in a fund raiser then have a wedding. For some reason the wife won't let me skip the wedding for the meeting.

Post by: Slicktrax on July 24, 2007, 13:25:00: as an added bonus, the air show is this weekend. many times the show planes fly directly over my house. the thunderbirds are the last to go saturday. we might get a decent flyby depending on which show they do.

But your family lives there. :) I don't think my children and grandchildren that don't live at home any more would get too excited about a reef meeting. ;D (What is wrong with them???)
