Title: PH - Windows Open
Post by: lazylivin on June 16, 2011, 01:39:10
Just wanted to share the effect open windows has on our reef tanks.  Over the past 7 days a PH measurement was taken and recorded every 10 minutes. This graph illustrates the daily swing from 8.10 to 8.18 for the first 3 days. Then I open the windows on the morning of Day 4 which causes the PH to rise over the following 4 days to 8.33

I've heard that before but never saw it in graph form.  Very interesting, thanks for sharing!

Great info Brian. I had heard the same thing as well. Nice to have a graph to prove it :)
