Questions on my new sump

Well I have finally "finished" my new 20GL sump and I must say it sure is nice... My question is would it be ok to stack my LRR without using eggcrate against the glass as I have it now? If not it would open up more room for more rock and the like. I would post pic but the camera's battery is dead and the recharge we bought is a POS. Thanks for any input in advance.
