Filter socks

Anyone ever made their own filter socks? What find of material did you use? I made some a couple weeks ago and they didn't hold up very well. I got the material at Joannes. It was the material that they use for the inside of quilts. It seemed to be all cotton. Seems like you need something with a lot of polyester in it. Just curious if anyone new what to use.

I just use my old gold toe dress socks.

I'm joking, I bought mine, but i'm also interested in a material and if it's cheaper to make my own.

I bought 100% polyester felt from walmart.  like $2 a yard i think.  I made 6 double layer socks from a yard

Electrical Engineers do it on impulse, with faster rise times, with more power, and less resistance at higher frequencies, without shorts, until it Hertz

Not to stop anyone's effort, but there is a local guy around me in KC that has his mother make these...they are top notch.  Check them out...

Is there any way to look at the link without registering for that site?
