Interceptor
« on: June 13, 2009, 11:28:35 »
We took our new puppy to the vet today and while I was there got a prescription of interceptor from her. So if anyone needs any I will have it once I found out where to get it filled.  Does anyone know where to get it filled?

lazy,
I do know that you have to get it from a DVM. You can also get it filled online through Petmeds. Dr. Foster and Smith also have that capability. Now i don't know how big of a hassle that would be but I would deffinatly look into doing it that way. Hope this helps.

Thanks Justin, I will give them a buzz Monday to see what the process is in getting it filled.

At one point I saw that you could get it through one of the pharmacys - maybe CVS or Wallgreens?

Most vets will fill the prescription for you...kinda odd they didn't.  We use the vet on base, but I know the vet on Colonel Glenn down past Hardees (same side of the street by that car sales place) fills scripts.

I know Jack's will fill them too...but they're pretty pricey.  I'm not sure if they sell interceptor though.

I got some from http://petproductsontheweb.com/ without a prescription it took around 5 weeks to get it I'm not sure how long the medicine is good for but the pack I got doesn't expire for over a year.  They also have good prices on frontline.
