clown fish behavior
« on: June 06, 2012, 11:03:04 »
Well, my Ocellaris clowns after about a month after getting my Long Tentacled Anenome started to wallow around in it.
Last night I noticed them sucking on the tentacles. Hmmmm. Has anyone ever seen this behavior? Also they have dug a hole in the sand
and won't stray too far from it. Was doing my mag float last night and they were attacking it when I got close to that area.
Was wondering if this might be them building a nest.

thanks all

Yes most clowns do suck on the anemone tentacles and clean an area where they would nest and can be highly territoriality over it. Especially if they have laid eggs
