Looks like an old fire pump.  The one on our ladder is 1750gpm
Firefighting:  How hard can it be?  You just put the wet stuff on the red stuff right?

57 Rimless SPS/LPS in the works

OLD:180g mixed reef, 60g sump, 2 30g frag tanks, 30g macro algae tank.  300g total system.

Not even close.   I'm just finishing system install at one of our plants.    3 x 3200 gpm pumps.........these are turned by 350hp motors.   2 primary and one backup.

The main header that these supply is 20" in diameter.

Those are probably pretty big pumps.    Our pumps are delivering water at 100-120psi........pretty impressive when a 4" hose busts loose.   Luckily that is chilled water.

They push a lot of water a very long distance, but they cycle so it might not be that impressive.
