Filter socks group buy update
« on: March 16, 2012, 15:24:40 »
I picked up the order yesterday.  However, the 11" X 4" with collar have been delayed until possibly after the swap.  I just spoke to the mfgr, and they had a material issue, so will not ship until as late as the 27th, but will attempt to improve that date if possible.

If someone needs 4" X 11" with collar, I have two unused factory fresh ones that I can give you now that are my spares and I'll take them off of your order when it comes in.

Again, the 50 7" with drawstring and the 50 4" with drawstring are here.  If you need them before the swap please let me know.

I apologize for the inconvenience over the delay on the 4" with collar.

Thanks.

Kevin

Sunny, if you don't get with kattz before the swap I can bring them back with me and give them to you with your frozen food order.  I think, I'm a little closer for you.

I really don't want to put anything in there till the diatom problem and alk issues are cleared up.  My corals now are ust existing, not really growing.

WHAT ????  I'm suppose to wash them first ???  lol ... I did rinse the one I put on, I really needed it on.  It wasn't long before it was brown.  I was telling Kevin I have been using Bill's socks with batting in them.  I will wash the rest in bleach before using them.  These socks are awesome !!

I never washed mine first, so it probably won't hurt anything.  It's brown already???

Yeah, after a few hours, it was brown.  I took a turkey baster and blew off the rocks and sucked some off the sand.  So, I stirred up a lot of stuff.  Plus, we put the other 3200 power head in there.  So, there is 2 - 3200 Koralia's in there.   I'll get this tank diatom free, that is my mission !!

Wow.  You sure the neighbor's dog didn't leave a gift in your tank for it to be brown already? :)

We have a small problem with the 4" X 11" with drawstring - we are 5 short.  This is because I failed simple math - 15 + 20 + 15 + 5 = 55, and I ordered in a lot of 50.  If someone wants to give up 5, their money will be cheerfully refunded.

The 4 X 11" with collar will not make it until the 29th.

All of the 7 X 14" with drawstring are bagged and ready to go.

That's funny.  I can handle trig and calculus, but can't add.
