Title: Mandarin Question

I bought a mandarin from Joel about 1 1/2 weeks ago.  I saw him under a rock for 3 days and have not seen him since.  I was wondering if any of you that have Mandarins had this problem or know what he might be doing.  I have plenty of "bugs" for him to eat, i don't want to tear my tank apart to look for him.  Any Suggestions?????

Just wait him out I guess. I had a mandarin in a 90 gallon tank once, and I would go days without seein him. Hopefully everything is ok.

probably in the rocks eating.  mine will sometimes go days in between sightings.

Thanks for the info guys.  I still have not seen him, but i am gone alot too.  Hopefully he is just a bit shy.

It took the one we had in our 240 several weeks before it would come out when the lights were on.

I have had my mandarin in my 150 for almost a year now. Mine has always been out and about.

Cool!  Maybe he will start coming out more often now!
