Title: Mailbox Status Bar
Post by: UDflyer00 on March 15, 2009, 21:28:59
man I was a victim too... :P  I should've known I had 7 pages worth of messages... It's all those sump questions with you and mav... ;)  All clear now, down to 2.5 pages... :D

Admins, is there a way to get a space usage bar on your inbox? I've seen that before on some messages boards... Just curious.

Can't wait for your message Rob... Thanks.

Mark

Because thread morphed moved to Site Q/A  (LazyLivin)

There used to be one, I'm not sure what happened to it. Don't know if the newer versions of the software have removed it or what.

I just created a test account and the PM inbox meter is there. I'm not sure why you aren't seeing it.

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot....  Where are you seeing it on your test account?  What "page"?

Click on the "My Messages" tab at the top of the page. On the left hand side, under preferences, should be a little bar graph that tells you how many messages you have as well as "how full" your inbox is.

It should be just under the Preferences box on the left. I can't find any settings to turn it off either in the admin panel or the individual preference options. I will post a question on the SMF help board and see if I can get an answer.

I used to have a bar and it's gone as well...  :(

Some of the membergroups have unlimited PMs and thus do not have the status bar. I am going to have to check to see if some permissions have gotten messed up.

Those of you who had the bar but lost it, are you on the frag committee?

You should have the bar back. I never set the number of max PMs for the frag committee.

Is that application shareware or freeware, by chance? I'd like to have a nice screen catch ap for my computer.
