i might order next week from segrest farms.... depending on inventory.  They had m-XL blond naso's for $35-65 and a few other fish I was interested in.  Just not sure what their inventory will be next week

Last time I ordered from them (purchased my show queen angel from them) it was $80 per box to ship
300g tub o fish

My blond died a few weeks ago along with a few other tangs during a prazipro treatment :(

I want to add a few more tangs.... Debating on a purple tang as well and fwiw 10-20 fish can fit in a box unless its a large fish like my queen...... She got her own box

Anyways, what size is your tank?

Depending on size Sohal,
300g tub o fish

I have a desjardini sailfin tang. About 6-7" very healthy. $75 obo. I have had him for well over a year. Was just 2-3" when we got him. The only reason for getting rid of him is he is aggressive, and we are wanting to add more fish, but he killed the last fish we tryed to add to the tank.

It's a 130 but my hippo is 2" the sailfin is 5" and the Achilles is 3" kindve like the sohals would need to be small though

for that size tank (is it 4, 5 or 6ft) I think a Sohal or Naso is a bad idea.  They just get way to big for your tank, even the achilles will get to large for the tank especially since they have a attitude and get 8+in.  Sohal will get to a foot in 2 or so years and Naso's also get well over a foot long

More then likely A sohal would only last a year or so before he starts killing other fish and get 6+in long, that's with buying a small 1-1.5in sohal to start.  Took mine about 8 months to go from 1.5-6+in

I would consider tangs that do not get large and also do not have a attitude.

Zebrasoma family could work.... some can be quite mean thus many times add as the last tang, be it a yellow, purple, scopas etc

You could also do a yellow eye cole tang.  Mine is 4-5in and is quite healthy....

Do not get a clown tang. If you can get it to live it will destroy your other tangs. Meanest tang out there.

yes.... the twin the the sohal with a fraction of the sohals attitude but still quite mean

any tang that gets close to or more then a foot long should not be considered
