filter media advice

I just got a user Rena xp4 with no filter media. Any ideas of what I can put in the filter trays and in what order should u put it. Also where can i buy the stuff I'm using it on my 90 gallon african cicli tank..lol I'm a cheap ass is what my wife would say I just dont feel like spending a lot of money at the fish store..thanks

Get some Seachem Matrix and some Seachem Purigen.  If you really want go crazy, get some Seachem Matrix Carbon as well.  Following the direction of water flow; put the bio-foam first, then the matrix, then either the purigen or carbon.  Don't forget some polishing pads somewhere in there too.

No problem.  We have been running a Fluval 306 on our 75gal reef for the past 7 months, and it has done well.
