Torch coral

I have a cousin wanting to give me a very nice torch coral because an angel is nipping at it. He has had inch in the tank in the past. I have only put quarantined fish in my display. Can you dip coral to kill inch? Do you all quarantine coral or what is the best process to add new coral? Thanks in advance
