If these are wellsophyllia and trachyphyllia then yes they can touch each other. (technically there is no such thing as wellsophyllia any more, it has been determined that only trachyphyllia is correct for this coral)

I can't tell in the picture what specie the green one is but the red rimed ones are trachyphyllia geoffroyi
