Welcome to Ohio Reef!  I'm not sure what happened, but your thread got lost.  Would you mind re-introducing yourself?

yes sorry about my computer screw up. hello my name is scott from dayton, im 25. been getting my hands wet for the past 6 months if not litt longer. Im here to  expand knowledge about the hobby. i have had SO much help from a guy name andy (aka) chromiumlux wasnt for him i wouldnt even think about having a tank. ;D well i start off with a 3g pico then a 14g biocube and i came across a 28g nanocube with stand, chiller everything in perfect working condition at a price that i could never pass up ;D but here is a few pics that i have. any pointer?? i would more then lover to hear. now i know theres a few things in the 14g thats isnt spose to be in becuse the lighting isnt strong enought but they will soon be in the nano. im still VERY new to this. but on with the pic




my 28g that im swapping everything over to. rock etc.




then my 3 pico had loved litt thing hehe


finally had the few extra bucks for one of these. thanx andy for ALL the water you supply in the past :drink

Very clean tank!  I'm constantly amazed by the very small...and very large tanks.  Welcome to the club!

looking good.........is that outlet by your ro system gfci protected?  if not i would soon, if you get any water splash when changing filters or a leak it could cause a fire. ;)

ya its not a gfi outlet but i had it there for when i made my 28g first mix.

I was gonna ask the same thing. Mine sprung a leak on the membrane and was spraying pretty good.

I never had any luck with my Pico, too small and delicate. Maybe I should drill it, make it a sump hehe.

I love the BioCubes!

i just got a new xm 20000 bolb for my tank and i took it out it looks like its been turn on or used once???

That's not good.  Where did you purchase it from.  I would contact the store/person and ask to exchange it or get a refund.

Yeah, the XM 20k always comes with what looks like a burnt spot on the inner tube. I've never had a problem with my XMs in the past and if it's defective the vendor will replace it. I could be wrong and I aint no scientist, but that spot in that bulb should be rare earth metals used to produce the color. The tank is looking good ;D
