Once again we are looking for members or sponsors to host the meetings this year.

January: 16th at HUNGER's apartment - "WINTER BLUES" Membership Kick-off Meeting!!!
February: ghurlagâ€™s house Saturday, Feb 27 @ 3pm
March: TGI Fridays in Huber Hieghts @ 3:00pm
April: 17th @ kyle park in tipp city @ 4:00pm
May: May 23rd @ cyberwollf's house @ 1:00pm
June: Stick_boy107
July: Reefchick
August: Party at Jd's

How many members usually attend? What is expected of the host? My house is small, but mighty.

Meetings vary from 5 to 15+ members. It really depends. As far as the host, you just need to be there

You can have a presentation or a demo if you want.

Actually, we've been averaging lately 15-20 members for about the past 6 months...I think the days of 5 members at a meeting are over!

Nothing is required of the host other than just providing the house and answering some questions. Some hosts ask members to bring a dish/drinks/chairs...other hosts provide a small snack/drinks. Some hosts will give a demonstration on how to do or make something...other hosts ask someone else to do a demonstration (I have several presentations stored up whenever we need them)...or we just use the meeting time as a socialization time. Meetings last anywhere from 2-4 hours...just depends. (You can have a shorter one if you want).

Length of the meeting isn't a big deal. I'm just afraid it would be cramped at my place with 20 people... I guess I'll need to attend a few meetings and get a better feel before I can really say one way or the other.

I spoke to my wife and we can host for February (I have the 6th and 20th booked already, so the 13th orthe 20th would be good).

Rule #1: Don't make fun of the 30g goldfish tank (it's my son's)
Rule #2: Don't make fun of my 29g nano (it's a work in progress)
Rule #3: My wife likes to cook - you must like to eat

I suppose we can work out the details over the next couple weeks. I have all manner of computers and connections, so anyone with a presentation would be awesome, or we could just hang out.

Beautiful! I vote not the 13th...some of us weird fish people have found someone who overlooks our addiction! So, I at least should probably dedicate one weekend to my spouse.

Did you mean the 27th? (You said you had the 20th booked then offered the 20th.)

Oh...and I like to eat...so...I'd like to come!

If no one else volunteers for a presentation, I might be able to...but I'd rather someone else give a presentation.

Yes, the 27th is what I meant. So that's what we'll plan on and go from there. Obviously, we'd like to have a head count as close to accurate as possible

We are also trying to get the workshop together (possibly April) and will need a central location to host it. Anyone know a location to make food, LEDs, frag demo, etc?
