Title: Meet 'N' Greet Post
Post by: garrettross312 on April 23, 2020, 17:14:30: Hey, My names Garrett, currently live in Springboro. Ive been in the Reefing hobby 4-5 years. I started in a 5 gallon ( gf made me :alas: ), got hooked, moved up to a 10 gallon, then a 20L, and now I'm in a 53gallon DT and a 40B sump. The current tank has been up around 2 years and is mixed LPS/SPS, but Ive started to get into higher end SPS. If any of y'all have tips for dosing that would be great! Currently trying to setup the versa and cant decide on a schedule, need around 20mls of ESV per day, although I believe I need to up it, alk has been running low 7.3-7.8.

Post by: CoralBeauties on April 24, 2020, 08:21:14: Very nice variety of coral and tank looks nice. that clam looks like a small monster!! for cheap dosing I like and use a jabao doser. They work great and you can spread out your esv and alk hourly through out the day. Any my favorite part they are cheap for what you get.

Post by: garrettross312 on April 24, 2020, 08:32:14: Thanks for the response! I’ve been using the Jabao 4head dosing pump only two of the heads work and they don’t hold a calibration, this is my second unit. I have not had luck with them unfortunately, but you can’t beat those prices.

I ordered some direct from china and with all this corona stuff they havent showed up yet. I have never actually gone back and recalibrated mine. I'm currently not dosing anything so mine is laying idle. I use a calcium reactor for all my alk and ca needs.

Post by: Gary on April 24, 2020, 13:10:24: My is located near the top of the tank. The pumps don't always block the flow through the pump. The dosing material drains back to the reservoir. For dosing a few millilitres this a big problem.
