Large mushroom relocation help
« on: December 31, 2019, 12:08:49 »
Currently I have a large red mushroom that is about the size of a CD. He currently is in a box inside of tank A and he had attached himself to the bottom. I am wanting to put him down into the display in Tank B and am looking for recommendations on how to do it. He is not attached to a rock or anything in tank A, just the acrylic box. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get him detached from the box and attached to a rock so I can move him?

Any chance a credit card could scrape the footing off without too much damage?

I believe I should be able to, but I'm not sure on how I go about sticking him to a rock.

Once you get him off the box, throw some rock in the bottom of the box and put him back in it. The low flow of the box will allow him to settle. In a week, he’ll be attached to the rock.

Could also be your chance to frag... just cut down the middle.
