Barnacles on vacation

In Jacksonville on vacation and found a cool barnacle cluster on the beach

Those are cool. Bring them home for your tank. Blennys, wrasse and basslets love them. And they look cool. I glued them all over my tank return to hide it. Looks very nice

There is a lot of stuff on them. Should I boil them? Or just put them in the tank?

I usually bleach them to disinfect and kill anything. Rinse them good and let soak in some dechlorinator

Just curious as to why I would soak them in dechlorinator?  I bleached them and have been soaking in RO water.

Not likely necessary, just being cautious all the chlorine has been removed
