Return line routing
« on: July 28, 2013, 23:40:16 »
Finally have the 92 flowing. But having second thoughts on how I want the returns routed. I originally planned in just drilling thru the plastic corners at each side of the front of the tank. But after really looking at the it. I don't think that's a good idea, for they are braces. My second thought was to drill a couple 3/4" holes in the glass lid and go thru that way. But I don't have a hole saw that small. So, any ideas?  Any would help. Right now I have it rigged. And I'm really worried about how I have. So I need to change it by tomorrow night. Here is a crappy pic of what the top looks like.

Can you just plum it in the cutout in the rear of the lid and then loc line it along the top edges of the tank up to the front?

There was no holes drill in the top at all. So I went with the simplest fix.
Drilled a hole in the middle, drilled a 3/4" hole in on of these bulkhead plugs I have and ran my lines thru it. Boom good to go.
