180 gallon build

Me and METZCOOL on here have been working on putting together my 180.  was a freshwater tank but were switching it to salt water reef.  just got my light fixture friday its a 4x250w mh and 4x39w acitinics. should be able to put up some pics soon.

i'll be adding some more rock to it because what i have isn't enough.  Only 150lbs in there now, and i'll be bringing the rock over from my 55 gallon also.

Firefighting:  How hard can it be?  You just put the wet stuff on the red stuff right?

57 Rimless SPS/LPS in the works

OLD:180g mixed reef, 60g sump, 2 30g frag tanks, 30g macro algae tank.  300g total system.

not sure it came with the tank.

I got my mag18 for the skimmer and my mag12 for the sump today and finshed a little plumbing so maybe this weekend i will get water in it.  I hope cuz i'm very inpatient lol.

I like the dimensions of the tank, and the acrylic-rod-stabilized formation.  The mounds in the first pic are awesome, but admittedly very common.  I still have a few years before I upgrade, but knowing where to get acrylic rods for a price like that is gonna come in handy :)

I can't wait to see this thing with water, and lit up!
