Title: Bowman's Progress
Post by: dbowman on April 03, 2020, 16:27:55
From freshwater to saltwater to multiple tanks; such a fun slide down the slippery slope.
I started to write a note, found I was getting into the weeds and set it aside for later.
I have my display and sump cycled and am thinking of adding livestock. I have a pilot  tank and sump that i was going to use as a QT. I was looking at what it would take to strip it down to a tank that i could medicate in and realized i was looking at it wrong. I have a rectangle 25 gal. that i bought last year for a sump that i didn't use. It is perfect! So, a 10 gal FW QT; a 75 gal FW DT; a 32 gal Bowfront SW with diy overflow and sump; a 75 gal SW DT with a 55 Gal tank for sump; and now a 25 gal SW QT. With the happy circumstance that i can set it up with water from the two other systems and equipment that i have on-hand and a HOB filter that is seeded with bacteria from the 32 gal.  WOO! WOO!  LFS:   here I come!!  lol
