As my nitrate levels aren’t out of range but my phosphates are on the higher side I want to try lanthanum chloride. For those of you have have used it, where do you get it? I haven’t been able to find any readily available. I want to make sure I get something safe for the tank. Thanks!

I just ordered some from amazon:

Haven't received it yet and it should be enough to share if you're interested.

That is the correct stuff

Is there any dosing guidelines floating around? From what I can tell 1 mL will precipitate 360 mg of phosphate. Meaning in 100 gallons 1 mL would eliminate 0.95 ppm phosphate. Does this seem far from results? It obviously doesn’t account for leaching or ongoing breakdown of organics.

That sounds about right if you don’t dilute it. I personally wouldn’t use it without diluting it. It’s powerful stuff. You can easily bottom out your PO4 if not careful. Creating more problems.

Right. I’d probably put 0.1 mL in a liter IV bag (or whatever they come in) for my own uses. Only need to drop 50 gallons of volume by about .25 ppm, but I’d have to do the math I guess.
