Hello everyone,
I've been lurking around for a while but I'm finally getting around to posting. My name is Chris, I'm fairly new to the hobby, I kept African chiclids for about two years and I have been dabbling in the marine world for about a year and a half now. I currently have a 55 gallon aquarium that I plan on filling with softies and lps when I finish the remodel of my house. My tank consist of a 55 gallon all glass aquarium, a 65x4 odyssea fixture with 14k and actinic bulbs, my substrate is carib-sea reef sand, 50 pounds of base rock, 20 pounds of live rock, 3 unknown brand powerheads, bak-pak skimmer and a whisper 60 power filter for chemical filtration. I currently have waving hand coral, a frag of zoo's, lots of star polpys, various mushrooms, a finger leather and a candy cane coral. My plans for the future are to add a sump and possible upgrade my lighting. If you see any problems with my setup please point them out, the tank has been up and running for six months.

Here's a picture of my tank sorry it's getting cleaned tomorrow and I'm not a photographer

Now if I could figure out what to do with that much anthelia.  I'm thinking of getting rid of some of the softies and getting into SPS.  Thanks for the compliments.

I forget exactly what you're looking for, but Joel had a nice tank w/stand over at Etc.  Might want to check it out if you haven't yet.  I think it was a 90.

I seen the 90 gallon Joel has but it's a little more than I'm wanting to spend.  The stand does look well made.  I found a 70 Gallon Oceanic for a good price but it's oak and I'm trying to find one in black of dark stain.  I got a Bali Green Slimer today.  ;D

The right opportunities will come along in this hobby if you're patient enough.  Nice on the slimer.  I got one recently & love it!
