Hi, I’m Matt and joined earlier this week. I am a student at the University of Dayton and have had an admiration for aquatic life nearly my entire life.

I've been in freshwater for about 12 years and saltwater for the last year and a half. My current tank is a regular 30gal with live rock, softies, mushrooms, rock nem's, one pesky yellow tail Damsel and a small blenny. My equipment is 2x96W PC lights, a dinky HOB prizm skimmer, and have been running this tank with a canister filter.

I have been purchasing equipment to do a total overhaul and upgrade to a bigger tank. With nearly all the equipment in hand, I should be starting the build soon and keeping a picture log of the build. I've noticed you all like pictures and I hope to show the progress as I go along. 

I've been reading a lot on here and learning many things I tend to do with my new tank when it gets here. I am sure I’ll have questions in the next coming weeks/months about many different things. So thanks in advanced.

Bring on the questions.  We can't read like Joe said, but you can draw arrows on the pictures you need assistance with.  :laugh:

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. It'll be a few weeks before I can start on the transfer to the new tank because of school restraints. But, once I start it there will be quite a few questions.
